About Stephanie
I have been drawn to photographs for as long as I can remember. As children, my cousin and I, would pull out our grandparents 35mm photo slides and for countless hours we would look at our family history. I was drawn to what I saw projected on the wall and fascinated of how moments were captured in time. But it wasn't until I was about 16 years old and I came across my parents 1987 Canon SLR that my passion for photography started to develop. Ever since then I can't seem to get enough of photography - both from behind the lens and appreciating other photographer's works of art.

I love the creative process, which begins even before the session. I love the anticipation and planning of the shots I would like to capture. Although there is no greater feeling when we are going with the flow during a session and something catches my eye and leads us to capturing a precious moment.

Photographing children is quickly becoming my favorite. There is something so wonderful about capturing these little subjects. The honesty in their eyes, the innocence in their ways, all of which I strive to capture. Also, how often in the grown-up world can you sing, dance and act silly?

To top it off, I met Tina who shares my passion for photography and gets excited about it just as much as I do. We really have fun working together and our goal is for you to have fun with it, too!

A little about me... I grew up in BeaverBank, Nova Scotia; I recently married my best friend; we have a little fur child, Brady; and I love to travel.

Thanks for reading, and I look forward to working with you!

About Tina
Two years ago, my husband (and biggest fan) surprised me with my first professional grade digital camera and I have been hooked ever since!  Perhaps you may call me a photography junkie as I get easily excited when it comes to anything having to do with a camera.  I love to experiment any chance I get. (My guinea pigs know who they are!)  When I am not taking photos, I am a loving mother to a 1 1/2 year old baby boy, Gavin.  Needless to say, I completely understand the ups and downs of children - and I love capturing their unique personalities!

It wasn't until giving birth and, almost simultaneously, losing my dear friend, Bryan, to cancer that photography took on a new meaning to me.  It's funny what a photo can do. The real moments and raw emotions that are captured....and no matter how much time passes, you still can relive those memories through a single photograph.

I'd like to call Stephanie and I "photography soul-mates" and I am so happy to be sharing this experience with her.  I have known Stephanie and her husband since our time in University and we reunited as neighbours.  Since my family has expanded, Stephanie has stuck through it all and we can be spotted sharing meals, boring our husbands with photography talk, and playing boardgames - which can frequently result in the silent treatment from too much Monopoly and Risk!  :)

I'd like to send out a big thank you to my family (including mom and dad) for their constant praise and support.  I love you guys!

Please take a look around and if you have any questions or comments, I'd love to hear from you!
